There is no general answer to that question. It depends on the location and area.
In your role as a manager, you create the shift schedule for your team. You assign duties, take requests into account and approve holidays. You make decisions in the event of bottlenecks or conflicts. You coordinate special cases with your manager.
Typical indicators include productivity (pick rate), quality (errors, complaints), punctuality and safety. These key performance indicators come from a report and are discussed during shift briefings and handovers.
You will work with WMS/warehouse management, control station/scheduling, planning/time recording and reporting dashboards. Yes, there are specific briefings and training courses.
